Adam B. Ellick is a multimedia journalist at The New York Times who produces videos and writes for the newspaper, most recently on a three month assignment in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In 2000, I timidly fled my home comforts to roam the globe as an international journalist for six years. The journey yielded rousing tales, from frigid Siberia where Jews told how they endured both Hitler's camps and Stalin's gulags, to tropical Indonesia where I encountered survivors of a different sort: Muslims who took on the world's most fatal Tsunami to date. This website is your introduction to those I've met along my way, and a sampling of "one man band" multimedia journalism.
